absolutely dreadful stay at grant arms. i encountered spiders in the shower, which was just lovely. staff were mysteriously absent when i needed help—quite charming, really. also, you'd think a place like this would offer complimentary upgrades or at least a warm welcome, but no. almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

There were also issues with the cigarette smoke lingering around, which might not suit everyone. Plus, the noise from the bar can be a bit disruptive for those needing a good night's sleep, especially if it gets busy. Some of the furnishings, like chairs, were less than comfortable, and the lack of proper lighting in the rooms didn’t help the overall ambiance.
